COPPER MOUNTAIN PROPERTY INCORPORATED
Copper Mountain Mine Property is located in the Pilot Range 41°14'58"N - 114°00'57"W .
The Copper Mountain appears on most maps and is located in th North West corner of the State Of Utah, USA...
Minerals are Alunite, Anglesite, Azurite, Baryte, Cerussite, Chrysocolla, Copper, Cuprite, Galena, Goethite, Gold, Halloysite, Kaolinite, Limonite, Malachite, Tenorite
The east most ore bodie has a greater concentration of minerals. Production from this ore body was for only a few months when the mining atop of Copper Mountain came to an end. The western ore bodie contains similar mineralization as the central and eastern ore bodie. Blue (1960, p. 91) reports that the western ore bodie has, in place, a proven ore reserve of 80,000 tons and indicated reserve of 130,000 tons and an inferred reserve of 4,000,000 tons of copper ore.
The Bonneville Salt Flats are East and South East of Copper Mountain

Copper Mountain together with Tecoma Hill makes up the Lucin Mining District. The District produced Gold, Silver, Molybdenum, Copper, Lead, Zinc and Iron, beginning in 1870, with most production before 1920. Production of record was as follows:
Gold 30,453.07 oz., Silver 3,646,312 oz.,
Copper 18,195,944 lb., Lead 7,911,580 lb.,
Zinc 7,283,981 lb..
Available records indicate that extremely rich copper, lead and zinc ore was mined . Silver ore containing as much as 140 ounces per ton was shipped in car load lots.
Shipments from Copper Mountain began in 1870 with early transportation by mule train to Salt Lake City Smelters. In 1904 The Lucin Cutoff across the Great Salt Lakes brought service to the Tecoma Junction. Today the Southern Pacific RR Main Line serves the Tecoma Junction located 8 miles from the base of Copper Mountain .
BULLETIN 115, Geology and Mineral Resources of Box Elder County, Utah published by the Utah Geological and Mineral Survey a division of the UTAH DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES states " THE WESTERN ORE BODIE CONTAINS SIMULAR MINERALIZATION AS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN ORE BODIE. BLUE (1960, p. 91) REPORTS, THAT THE WESTERN ORE BODIE HAS, IN PLACE, A PROVEN ORE REASERVE OF 80,000 TON AND INDICATED RESERVE OF 130,000 TON AN INFERRED RESERVE OF 4,000,000 TON OF COPPER. A large part of the Property owned by CMPI has not been explored.
Mining to scale was discontinued due to falling metal price. The price of copper has risen, increasing 500% from a 60 year low. The price increase is due to an increase demand which is expected to continue. The Earths supply appears to be in place for only 51 years.
Three ore bodies are exposed at the summit of Copper Mountain within a distance of 3000 feet. The main producing bodies were the central and eastern. The central extends along a strike for 350 feet at the surface and 400 down the western slop from the top. The central and eastern ore bodies are continuous faces of copper and iron mineralization for 350 and 320 feet respectively.
